A posing lama in my house? Photo Blog P#485 :

Some words about the current picture:

P#485: A posing lama in my house?.

Don't you feel that this animal is looking like a famous singer?
Weird isn't it?

Finally, the post processing (clipping, cleaning, re-lighting, re-coloring) has been done quite fast.
The clipping was done over the green channel, I barely love clipping works, but this one was so fast that it hasn't get time to get boring ;)
Have a nice day!

  • Really really impressive. What did you do to add the light behind the lama? It's really convincing.Brooks Potteiger @ 2009-08-27 15:15:32

  • Amazing. Everytime I visit your site I am surprised - not at how good the image is (I expect that now!) but surprised at how effectively you transform what can sometimes be a 'plain' image into something extraordinary. Your processing is incredible - I still wish you would write that tutorial :)Hewston @ 2009-08-28 04:50:03
  • Haha - it's got to be the pout! Fantastic processing too btw :)CJ @ 2009-08-28 06:15:49
  • @Brooks: Thanks, the light behind is only a big white soft round brush, there's some manual vignetting and some noise to smooth the gradient.

@Fred: Merci, le clipping c'est le détourage en français, peut être ya un autre mot, c'est juste la trad google :D

@Thomas: welcome aboard ;) thank you for dropping a line, greets from Montreal!

@Hewston: eheh the tutorial publishing idea is an on going project, I have some ideas but actually no place to post. I have to put up a nice WordPress and write down, also find a way to earn some $$$ with this...

    @CJ: thanks ;)

  • Love this. As a matter of fact, I love how you do all these oddball animals. You know, it's odd but, when I looked at the before shot, I thought it looked a lot (in the eyes) like Michael Jackson. Weird. Weird that I thought that, not looked weird. Anyway.. the transformation, as always was amazing to watch. Lovely job.Mike @ 2009-08-28 14:41:04
  • @flawijn: eheh

@Mike: yeah! You're the only one who found that this lama looks like Michael Jackson. Thanks a lot for all your comments (on other pictures).

  • This is just hilarious. I think if it's a famous singer then it has to be Mick Jagger.Mark McNulty @ 2010-04-03 09:39:49
  • Il me fait penser à un de mes amis, j'espère qu'il n'a pas craché sur ta lentille entre deux ;)épilation à montréal @ 2010-04-05 14:48:44
