  • Hi Laurent,

I discovered your website this week and I have to say that I love it. Thank you for sharing the post-process. I do a lot of photoshop myself too.. and sometimes I wonder if I should or shouldn't. You just made me realize that I should continue doing it.. since it can definitly improve the photo.

I only still need to learn a few more tricks I guess ;)

  • @Laura: Thanks a lot for your compliments, I truly appreciate. Photoshoping is not a bad thing if you improve the pic, the limit between "overdone" and "improvement" is sometimes quite personnal :D

  • very nice work. Really like the colours especially the contrast between blue sky and green gras. SePp @ 2009-05-25 04:16:33

  • I would love to learn to work like you do. How can I learn? No joke, I think your work exceptional, what is your secret, how can I learn, I try to handle the image processing programs, but do not get to achieve the slightest. What program are you using?
    SA @ 2009-05-25 07:52:07
  • @Sepp: Thanks.

@SA: I'm using Photoshop CS4 and Camera Raw (bundled with Photoshop), no filters etc... To learn you may have to be patient, and read of course a lot of tutorials, books, watch videos etc... You have to understand how colors works, how light works, how you can work with these and finally try, try and try... UNfortunately apart from that I have no "ready-made"solution :D Good Luck!

  • I really thought I'd commented on this already, since I've been here to see it. Must have gotten sidetracked.

Love this. A really peaceful setting. The low vantage point in the grass and with the yellow dandelions, really reminds me of an animated film. I fully expect an ant to pop up and start taling to me. I really love that feeling in an image and this one has it. The photo and the processing are beautiful.
