Next invisible hope Photo Blog P#467 :

Some words about the current picture:

P#467: Next invisible hope.

Taken a while back at "Oratoire Saint Joseph", Montreal (QC, Canada).
It was just like this. Found as is. Strange feelings with this picture, no?

The post processing has been completely redone for "printing" purpose, and I pretty think that this one is really better than the original :D

The track for the original post was "Kettel - I was fine", now upgraded to "Arovane - Lilies".
Note that the orginal post has been featured in File Magazine (a collection of unexpected photography)
Enjoy and have a nice day.

  • It's a really striking image, that looks like it should be something out of an art installation or a stage play. (And I like this version better than the previous incarnation. I especially like how you include the "before" for comparison.)Jim (365,000 words) @ 2009-04-16 10:10:39
  • Je préfère de loin cette version que ta vieille version. L'effet de grandeur change tout et déstabilise l'observateur.semaha @ 2009-04-16 11:01:00

  • @Jim: Thanks, yes you're right it looks like an "installation" but it 's not, it has been taken in a Church.

@Semaha: oui le format portrait rends bien mieux. Les couleurs aussi ajoutent un peu.

@Darietto: Thanks a lot for your very kind comment :D Glad you'll be back :D

@Michael: I love the green too :D Thanks.

@Brooks: Thanks. Congrats for your photoblog!

  • Super cool simplicity, and I just love the light here!Claus Petersen @ 2009-05-04 11:40:01
  • I don' t know what it is, but if you look at it resembles something dark, pretty dark. I like the vertical framing as it emphasizes the overall creepiness of the image. Really nice touch to show the before and after, as it shows how much the image improved from the Photoshop retouching. Nice work, thanks for sharing. Ariel (twisted eye) @ 2009-05-04 12:14:47
  • @Polydactyle: Merci bien :D
