  • No portfolio can ever be complete, without a shot of a chair ;-)Claus Petersen @ 2009-04-14 11:16:03
  • eheh you're right Claus :D I think it's the second one I post this month...Laurent @ 2009-04-14 17:22:44
  • nice use of an overlay gradient - or so I'm guessing - it really brings it all together when the hue is cooled.Christian James @ 2009-04-14 18:20:26
  • Thank you Christian, there's actually some tricks with the colors, colored photo filters, the sky in the background is colorised in Color mode with blue of the chair etc... Thanks for noticing the work on these :DLaurent @ 2009-04-14 18:51:25
  • J'aime bien!Gino Caron @ 2009-04-14 21:51:39

  • Nice, like the colours and especially the bokeh.deceptive @ 2009-04-15 13:23:41
  • Thank you Andrew, personaly I'm not in love with the bokeh of this lens (Tamron 28/75 XR Di f/2.8) but at least it performs well wide open...Laurent @ 2009-04-15 13:37:07
  • This shot works for me. I love your before/after buttons :).

    Nice processing, how do you do the subtle center light/vignetting?
    PIXistenz @ 2009-04-16 08:01:04
  • Very nice lighting, and teh vignette works well to help make both the chair and it's shadow pop.Jim (365,000 words) @ 2009-04-16 10:13:04
  • @Kris: thanks, the vignetting is due to more than one layer but there's a levels in luminosity, a rgb darker curve in luminosity too all are masked using brushes, it gives a more "natural" looks than a heavy feathered selection.

    @Jim: Thanks ;)
