Here comes the last post of the year. I wish you all an happy new year 2009.
This picture has been taken in Cuba while I was riding a horse, for those who know me personnaly, it may sounds really really weird but it's true :D
About the "photoshop"-ing, please find the miniPSD attached and the 4 steps.

Also, I'll be really glad to have some feedback on the miniPSDs distributed, any thoughts (good or bad) are really appreciated. Enjoy the last 2008 hours, Cheers!

  Superbe rendu. (le vignettage en haut à gauche est à mes yeux un chouïa trop marqué)
  
  Le travail sur la lumière et les ajustements locaux est impressionnant, et d'autant plus quand on visionne le PSD.
  
  A ce propos, j'imagine que dès le départ, tu as une idée du rendu final que tu veux donner à ta photo, mais, dans le principe comment fonctionnes tu ?
  
  As tu un schéma directeur qui te guide étapes par étapes ou travailles tu plutôt un peu au "hasard" par tâtonnements et essais multiples ?

  @LUSH: Merci bien, jsuis assez d'accord avec le vignettage ptet un peu excessif à gauche. Par contre pour te décrire mon principe de fonctionnement ça va pas être facile...
  
  En fait j'ai pas vraiment de règles établis, j'ai évidemment une idée de ce que je veux dès le départ (déjà par zone), après soit j'utilise un ensemble de techniques dont je connais les résultats et/ou soit j'essaie des trucs en cas d'échec ou de besoins différents... Par exemple ici, on a un léger shadow/highlight puis un layer blanc/gris50 en Overlay pour éclairer le bas, d'emblé j'aurais pas utilisé ce combo, car trop violent mais en essayant, les couleures/la lum pour cette partie étaient exactement ce que je voulais...
  
  Finallement, ça me plait assez de garder une part d'inconnue, qui pour moi se rapproche plus d'une démarche artistique que d'une démarche purement technique même si cette approche à quelques fois ses revers.
  
  En tout cas c'est un sujet extremment intéressant, et le fait de distribuer un PSD qui met à nu la façon dont je fonctionne me permet aussi de travailler ça (actuellement je réorganise le PSD a posteriori pour en retirer des étapes)...

  A défaut d'avoir trouvé un tuto sur le net ou un bouquin qui donne un "workflow" précis sur l'ordre des étapes à effectuer pour le post traitement, je m'aperçois que j'ai (à mon échelle bien sûr ;-D ) un peu la même approche que toi : des outils (courbes, mode de fusion, dégradés, filtres ...) dont je connais, à force de répétitions, de mieux en mieux le rendu en fonction de l'image choisie et que j'essaie d'assembler entre eux pour avoir ce que je désire.

• @Lush: en effet je crois qu'il y a pas trop le choix de se faire soit même une palette de "trucs". Pour les tutos c'est vrai aussi que c'est pas la fête... J'ai récemment acheter ce bouquin (lien affilié amazon pour devenir riche et célèbre):: Scott Kelby's 7-Point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3 :: sans être la panacé (Rien de nouveau en terme de "technique Photoshop") il offre une approche à notre problématique.
