Some words about the current picture:

P#392: no description.

Taken in Guadeloupe @ DAMOISEAU Rhum fabric. I tried some mini ray of light on this one, well as these are not so cute, so they are a bit hidden ;) Lovely decay colors and compo but the "in focus" plan is maybe a bit too short, I think it would be nicier with the green wall "in focus" at least in a small format. Have a nice week end and Happy Easter.

  • I always love your colors. I recently found the "before/after" button lol.
I'm a starting photographer, and I'm making my own photoblog now.
Could you please send me a .PSD once, so that I can see the things you used? I can't figure it out! :(

  • Looks like a very interesting place you have visited here. It kinda reminds me of the movie "City of lost children"Claus @ 2008-03-21 13:12:43
  • i have no words...just awesome. I agree with CLAUS, definitely looks like a scene out of "City of Lost Children" or even a Brothers Quay film.
    beautiful work.

  • Nice to see you posting photos again! Great Shot!Ryan @ 2008-03-21 15:08:39
  • may we ask what this is a picture of? i get the impression of a miniature walk bridge into a building after your post processing. However, the original image seems to be a thin conveyer belt of some sort...?kevin riepl @ 2008-03-22 18:43:43
  • @All: Thanks! and Happy Easter!
@Salva: Thanks but for now I'm not giving away PSD files, I'm using nothiing special only curves/levels/gradient map/photo filters etc... This is the combination of all that is special, special for each picture. I'm pretty sure thta the best way to learn is to try and try and try...good luck :D
@Kevin: You're right this thing drive rhum bottles to various operations: stickers, prints etc... Damoiseau is a Rhum Fabric in Guadeloupe, you can get more info and some pictures (actually more conventionnal ones) Damoiseau Rhum(french). It's a nice fabric with good rhum, but to be honest I now prefer old Cuban one (12y) :D Cheers!

  • Bonjour Laurent,
    Superbe image, comme j'aime...
Les fuyantes qui mènent la lumière et le traitement des teintes donnent
     cette scène un aspect inquiétant.
    J'adore
